The 8 Days Kilimanjaro Climb via the Lemosho Route is the most scenic and rewarding way to reach Uhuru Peak. Beginning on the quieter western slopes, this route leads through montane forests, across the vast Shira Plateau, and past Lava Tower to the Roof of Africa.

Meet and greet at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Arusha. A full briefing covers the route, gear check and the team that will accompany you.
Drive to the Londorossi Gate and start the climb through pristine montane forest to Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,780m).
Trek onto the vast Shira Plateau, crossing moorland to the camp at around 3,500m with superb views of the mountain.
Acclimatisation day, climbing high to Lava Tower (4,600m) then descending to Barranco Camp (3,960m).
Scramble up the Barranco Wall and descend into the Karanga Valley, overnighting at Karanga Camp (4,000m).
Climb through the alpine desert to Barafu Camp (4,600m), the base for the summit attempt, resting ahead of the midnight start.
Start before midnight, reach the crater rim at Stella Point (5,756m) and continue to Uhuru Peak (5,895m) for sunrise. Descend to Mweka Camp (3,080m) for the night.
Final descent through rainforest to Mweka Gate, celebrate with your certificate, and transfer back to Arusha or the airport.

This is a demanding multi-day high-altitude climb. Prepare with regular endurance training and consult your doctor about altitude medicine before travel.
