Kenya in one grand sweep: elephants of Amboseli, the volcanic landscapes and Mzima Springs of Tsavo West, the red elephants of Tsavo East, and a wind-down on Diani Beachs white sands. Day 1
Early morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel and drive south-east through Maasai country to Amboseli National Park (approx. 4 hours). Arrive for lunch at Ol Tukai Lodge, then an afternoon game drive among the parks famous big tuskers. Dinner and overnight at Ol Tukai Lodge.
Day 2
A full day in Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives across the swamps and open plains, with time at Observation Hill. Optional Maasai community visit can be arranged locally. All meals and overnight at Ol Tukai Lodge.
Day 3
Breakfast, then depart west across the Shetani lava flow into Tsavo West National Park. Afternoon game drive featuring Mzima Springs, where hippos and crocodiles are viewed from an underwater hide. Dinner and overnight at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 4
Morning game drive with a stop at the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, then continue east into Tsavo East National Park. Evening game drive along the Galana River - home to Tsavos legendary red elephants. Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Aruba Lodge.
Day 5
Sunrise game drive in Tsavo East followed by breakfast at the lodge. Exit the park and transfer to the coast, arriving at your Diani Beach resort in the afternoon. Check in at Diani Reef Beach Resort & Spa for two nights of barefoot relaxation.
Day 6
A free day on Diani Beach - swim, lounge by the pool, or book optional extras locally such as a Wasini Island dolphin dhow and snorkelling trip to Kisite Marine Park, or a Funzi Island excursion. Overnight at Diani Reef Beach Resort & Spa.
Day 7
Leisurely breakfast at the resort, then transfer to the airport (Ukunda airstrip or Moi International Airport, Mombasa) for your onward flight - or road return to Nairobi if preferred. End of services.
