Answer the call of elephant country on this 3-day road safari from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park - home of the famous big tuskers. Travel south through Maasai country to a classic lodge such as Ol Tukai Lodge or Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge (or similar), with morning and afternoon game drives led by experienced driver-guides. Price includes accommodation, Amboseli park entry fees (2026 KWS tariff) and transport in a custom 4x4 safari vehicle. Non-resident: US$ 2,400 per person sharing. Resident: KES 52,000 per person sharing.
Day 1
Pick-up from your Nairobi hotel in the early morning and drive south-east via Namanga to Amboseli National Park (approx. 4 hours). Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, then head out for an afternoon game drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 2
Early breakfast, then a full morning game drive along the Enkongo Narok and Reto swamps - prime territory for Amboseli's famous big tuskers. Return for lunch and midday rest, then head out again toward Observation Hill in the afternoon. Optional visit to a Maasai manyatta can be arranged locally. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3
Final early-morning game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. Depart after brunch and arrive back in Nairobi by early evening, with drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
